Platon Horyn, a 13-year-old boy from Kyiv, won the National French Language Competition. His prize was a chance to travel to France for two weeks. Together with Marisa, a girl from his French host family, Platon learns about world-known artists born in Ukraine. They discover all kinds of styles and art trends, exploring the lives and works of David Burliuk, Aleksandra Ekster, Sonia Delaunay, and others. It’s a book about adventures of two teenagers in France hunting down the secret of an art diary kept by a Ukrainian guy who was friends with these celebrated artists.
